Robert McIlhargie upgrades our shopping technology, enabling us to run multiple stores: purchases from Clarsach.net are now credited to our partner, the Wire Branch, and purchases from Siubhal.com to us.

New printers are selected for Donald MacPherson's CD-book after the first ones go out of business. PC artwork is revised for Mac and resupplied.

28 Jan - 4 Feb

Javier Sáinz visits Lu Bancu to record Siubhal's second CD-book, promoting the classical harp of Ireland and Highland Scotland.

7 December

Siubhal's first hard product goes to the printers, a 168-page hardback book & 76-minute CD: Donald MacPherson - A Living Legend.

15-21 October

Donald MacPherson christens the video recording studio, built in Sardinia for Siubhal content creation by Barnaby Brown.

7 October

Triplepipe.net goes live.

22 July

Robert McIlhargie installs Moodle, an application better suited to running online classes than phpBB.

8 May

John Shields volunteers to help develop Siubhal's web applications, initially installing TWIKI to help David with translation management.

David Johnston joins us and starts planning a translation management solution.

Andy Donald joins the team to develop the user interface of the online lessons and DVDs.

Daniel MacDougall installs osCommerce and development of the shopping facilities begins.

The old Pibroch.net site is archived. In its place, a mock-up of an interactive, database-driven redesign is published for feedback from users.

4 December

Ron Smith joins the team and starts cataloging the Frans Buisman digital archive.

21 October

Siubhal Studios opens its doors to to scholars and organisations needing an online office. Classroom trials begin.

30 September

The first studios and classrooms are created, the brainchild of Scott Forrest and Simon Chadwick.

29 July

Rob McIlhargie uploads the phpBB forum and development of Siubhal's Classrooms & Forums begins.

21 June

Rob McIlhargie, a software engineer, volunteers to help with the project.

14 December

S'Iscandula has to return the grant for Meigama to Brussels as Sardinian regional government support was not confirmed in time. Gallingly, the Sardinian grant was offered in January, but Brussels was firm. This disappointment stirs us to be better prepared next time and gives us opportunity to include musical traditions from other EU nations.
